Dolphins in Oahu - Lets get very clear about this one point. Dolphins are located throughout the state of Hawaii and can be seen off all the islands. These fun-loving marine animals have a permanent home here in Hawaii and are in the islands all the time. There is no doubt however, that the single best place to view them on a consistent basis is off the Waianae Coastline in the area extending north of Ko'Olina to Kaena Point. This area of Oahu coastline seems to suit the dolphins to a tee as they are found here everyday. Often the best time to see them is in the morning as they are resting on the surface after a big night of foraging and hunting for food. Seemingly always up for a good time and a great adventure, these dolphins almost always rise to the occasion for a bit of play with human snorkelers and this makes for one of the best times you will have on your entire vacation.
