Hawaii Shark Encounters is a great company to go out with to see the sharks. A fifteen minute boat ride from Haleiwa Harbor on Oahu's North Shore will get you 3 miles off shore to an area where you'll visit the sharks. Take a moment to gather up you courage and jump into the steel cage and you will be having an experience that will last a lifetime. Although most of the sharks will be Galapagos, you may also see Sandbar, Grey Reef and occasionally Tiger Sharks as well.

Description: Swim with sharks! The boat brings a shark
cage along. From the safety of the cage you are able to swim with the
sharks. The large shark cage can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably
with built in hand rails, ladder and 2' x 6' wide Plexiglas viewing windows
(great for picture and video taking). See, Sandbar Sharks size up to
7 feet, Galapagos Sharks up to 12 feet, Grey Reef Sharks up to 6 feet,
rare appearances by Tiger Sharks up to 14 feet, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles
very frequent and Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins usually escort the boat out
of the harbor. During migration in the winter months, Humpback Whales
are sighted on almost every tour.*
Operates: Daily 7:00am to 12:00 noon (weather permitting).
Departure Point: Departs from the Haleiwa Boat Harbor.

Equipment: 32' long 10' wide boat complete with swim
step, fly bridge and sunshade over deck. Comfortable seating, hot fresh
water shower.
