One of the BEST experiences we have had by far! They day was perfect, the snorkeling was crazy clear, the slide on the boat was a blast and even got to see sea turtles and whales! Breakfast and lunch was served on the boat. The crew was super awesome, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

We saw males wooing a female, a mom and her baby calf, and we got trapped in whale jail (surrounded by whales!) A highlight was when they placed a device in the water so we could hear the whale songs! They made sure everyone was hydrated and that all questions were answered (even ones about mermaids.) There were even cocktails available. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing crew and experience. They were very nice and provided such a fun atmosphere. I liked it so much the first day I signed up for the back of Molokini crater which was beautiful.
We were on 2 boat dives with captain Steve and his crew and it was an incredible experience! The whole team is very professional, helpful, nice and very funny. The two dives were very special, diverse and beautiful. Totally recommendable!! 🙂

One of the best diving experiences so far! I had so much fun on the Maui Diamond and I cannot wait to come back and dive the back wall with them. The crew was so jovial and genuinely happy to be on the boat and out diving. The captain kept cracking dad jokes and make sure everyone was having a good time. We saw lots of incredible creatures out there and one of the dive masters even shared his underwater photos with some of us (thanks Dave!). Truly exceptional. Is it too soon to say i'll see you again in April?!

Most incredible dive experience yet. We stopped at Molokini Crater and Kim’s Place where the entire staff was fun, kind and safe. Highly suggest this company. Captain Luke was the absolute coolest and it doesn’t hurt that he’s easy on the eyes.
So happy with every aspect of Maui Diamond dive. Great crew, good equipment (I rent everything), great dive at the amazing Cathedrals on Lanai AND really cool people on the boat. Highly recommend this business.

Snorkled turtle town and Molikini crater today with Captain Sam and Rene on 1/3/25 and they were fabulous and the tour was great. They adeptly adjusted the planned route based on conditions and it worked out for the best. Captain Sam even guided our boat to see some whales! Highly recommend this tour.

We had a great snorkelling trip to Molokini with Joe and Jess. We enjoyed being on a smaller more intimate boat. We did the 10:30 tour and had the crater to ourselves. After snorkelling we watched for whales and saw a few off in the distance. Loved that the tour was 2.5 hours as with kids and a mom who gets seasick easily it was the perfect amount of time to be out on the water. Joe and Jess were excellent and great tour guides.

It was the perfect package.On top of that the crew (Joe-Captain & Jess-everything else) did a 5 start job.I can truly recommend this trip to Molokini with this company. I needed a quick trip and this was perfect. 3 hours.I have to say that the food after all the snorkeling was delicious even though it was a sandwich it was great.
These are some of the most knowledgeable people I have met when it comes to sea life. The staff was both courteous and professional, and did not hesitate to answer any of our questions. They emphasized both safety and fun. Snorkeling at Molokini crater was a blast with them. Moreover, when we spotted whales, the captain ensured to remain respectful of the animal's space, but also gave us great views. We actually got to stay out on the water a little longer. The staff is not there to collect money - they are genuinely in love with the water and the life that lives within it. I highly recommend Makena Coast Charters and would do it again on my next visit to Maui!!!!

We loved the boat and the crew. The sailing was amazing! Our boat was quick in light wind and the crew kept the cruise quick and comfortable as we kept an eye out for whales.
Nicolas and his crew provided a safe, fun, easy going experience. We cruised, snorkeled twice, ate light breakfast and full lunch with eager bar tenders when we all finished in the water. We were a party of six adults and the boat had lots of room for us and other guests. Apparently the captain is a Whale whisperer as every few minutes another close view of whales was provided.
We did the "Turtle Reef Breakfast Snorkel & Sail" with Sail Maui and it was PHENOMENAL! I would highly recommend!!! For breakfast they had fresh fruit and delicious breakfast sandwiches (Vegetarian options available when booking). They took us out to a great spot with lots of turtles. Only one other snorkel boat was there, unlike some spots where we saw 4 or 5 boats and tons of people. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. This was a GREAT EXPERIANCE and cost less then a lot of the other companies offering similar experiences.
My girlfriend and I booked a sunset sail out the Lahaina harbor. First off the crew Kevin and Justin were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. It was a smooth ride and very relaxing. It was almost the end of our trip to Maui and was a great way to finish it off. We would recommend Sail Maui anytime. The boat Paragon was well maintained and in top shape. The views were amazing and is definitely worth going.
We went on a sunset cruise last night and it was by far the best excursion we have done in Maui yet. The boat was nice, staff was great and attentive. Our drinks were never empty. We saw whales and even a mother and baby. It was a beautiful night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend doing this at least once during your Maui trip!
PERFECT trip with Captain Chase & his phenomenal crew: Shannon, Jamie & (I think) Stephanie!!These guys all genuinely cared SO much about giving us the best time!Despite unfavorable conditions at their normal snorkeling spots, they found a perfect location for us to get in the water. Wife and I spotted loads of fish & coral - and even swam with a sea turtle! 🐢Even though this wasn’t a whale watching trip, the captain told us all to be on the lookout and went out of his way to give us the best views! One whale even came up to play with us (Up Close!) for several minutes!The food was better than expected & while I don’t drink, all the guests seemed to be into the drinks available at the open bar. (My wife said the wine was good & my Diet Coke was never empty!)If you want a crew that cares about you & your experience (Not just your money) — you want Sail Maui & Captain Chase!!!
