Jen and Eleni were amazing, they got us out to 4 different spots to snorkel (before they got crowded btw), the sites were amazing, the gear was high quality and these ladies made them a tour so much fun. We loved their energy and photography they took. I could not recommend them and this company enough!

Captain Spence, Danny and Zade were all awesome on our snorkeling trip today. They were all very fun, professional and experts in what they do. They shared a lot of knowledge and jokes that made the experience feel more personable. We were able to see whales while heading out to snorkel and we also saw a great amount of different fish and some turtles while snorkeling. I highly recommend going through Maui Snorkeling!

Had a really great time. The crew were so friendly. Chaten and Paul, the captain were very helpful. Paul gave us a bunch of recommendations of places to hit up in the area, too. It was too windy to visit the crater but the two spots we snorkeled in were so beautiful. Really fun time. Would recommend based off the crew alone.

I highly recommend the excursion with PacWhale Eco-adventures. We took the snorkeling trip from 8 am to 1 pm, and it was the perfect length. The adventure begins with a delicious breakfast (fruit, banana bread, croissants, and coffee) followed by about two snorkeling stops. The weather wasn't on our side, so we couldn't snorkel at the crater, but the team found an alternative location. We felt safe and secure. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner. We were a family of two adults and two children (ages 4 and 6), and the activity is suitable for them as well. We learned a lot, and the team was knowledgeable and very friendly. We saw turtles, fish, and even dolphins.

We had an amazing time on the Dolphin Tour on Sept 18, 2026. The captain and crew were friendly, helpful, informative, and genuinely excited to be there sharing and creating the experience for us.
It sure helped that we saw a lot of spinner dolphins early in the cruise, but I felt confident that had we not seen them in the first 30 minutes that the captain knew where to take us for our best chances of finding them.
The food was delicious, and the drinks were cold and flavorful too.
Overall it was an amazing time on the ocean.

While my only experience with Maui Diamond Sea Sports was the Lanai Cathedrals trip on 13-Sep, I can honestly say it was both memorable and amazing. Every member of the crew was not only professional and safety-first minded, they were authentically friendly and happily engaged in conversation to help pass the time while on the boat. If you’ve ever been on a boat trip where the crew seemed “required friendly”, you’ll understand how the minutes feel like hours when you’re not in the water. That was not the case with Maui Diamond Sea Sports. If/when I return to Maui for a vacation, I will 100% book all of my dives with Maui Diamond. Thank you for a truly memorable experience!

Fantastic dive to the Lanai Cathedrals today by a most professional crew on a beautiful boat! Safety is clearly #1 with them, the captain led the boat smoothly through the waters and kept us informed at all times. The dive briefings were thorough and interesting with clear expectations. Our DM David was a great leader, kept a close eye on us especially when the current became a bit strong, and took into consideration our individual needs. Definitely choose this operation when you're in Maui!

Great dives at Maui. We took the Molokini crater two tank dive with them and it was worth every penny. Great guidance our dive master Dan was great at helping us navigate underwater and made sure everyone was ok. Great at pointing out special fish and guiding everyone to see it. On the boat fresh drinks and snacks great equipment should you need to rent any. Would definitely come back here should we be on the island again.

We’ve spent the last two days diving with Maui Diamond, and it has been an absolute blast! 🤿🌊🐠
Yesterday’s Cathedrals trip with Nick was incredible. The boat setup and service from the entire crew were fantastic, especially Beth, whose amazing smile and energy made the day even better! 😄 Captain Gaye kept everything moving smoothly, getting us to the sites and safely in and out of the water comfortably and safely. 🚤👌
Today, Dave gave us an amazing unofficial naturalist tour and captured some fantastic photos. He also has a serious knack for coaxing octopuses out of their holes! 🐙📸 We saw so many new creatures including several white tip sharks, nudibranch of every color in the rainbow, crabs, shrimp, lobster, and one Javanese and numerous very grumpy “get off my lawn” eels.
Tomorrow is our final dive of the trip, on the backside of Molokini, and we can’t wait. Thank you, Maui Diamond, for making our Maui diving adventure so much fun! 🌺🐢🦈💙

This was the second dive center we tried in Maui and they provided a superior experience to other dive companies on the island. 1) They have their own boat and the boat is well kept and organised. 2) they take safety seriously and they manage groups very professionally on the boat. 3) We were able to do some long dives with excellent visibility on the boat 4) dive masters were fun to be around 5) soft drink choice on the boat was delicious (that guava soft drink!!!) - THANK YOU!!

After another shop abruptly canceled all of our prepaid and scheduled dives on my wife and I’s first anniversary trip literally as we were flying to the island, Maui Diamond was our savior. As a physically disabled person with no use of my legs, every other company I called turned me down. Maui Diamond immediately accepted us and was nothing short of perfection. They not only accommodated me and hoisted me in my wheelchair onto the boat and allowed me to dive, but were incredibly supportive and accommodating at every single step. This was also my wife’s first dive after being certified and she was very nervous. This trip to Lanai ended up being the best dive I’ve ever done, and the lava tubes were mind blowing in their beauty. They were so full of life, and Nick pointed out all of the things I wanted to see during the dives. I cannot thank Nick, Beth, and the crew enough. Literally a life changing day and experience. We will certainly be back to the island solely to dive with this amazing group!

The best dives and the best dive crew!!! We went to Cathedrals at Lanai and had two great dives. My favorite was the white tip reef shark and frog fish but structures were also amazing. Countless dolphins on the way back, they put on a great show. Photos attached are from our previous trip with Maui Diamond and photo credit goes to Divemaster Dave!!! Awesome!

This is the best dive boat on Maui! Not only do they take you to best dive sites, but they have the best crew! Captain Ben will get you there and back safely! Divemasters - Dave, Joe, Brian, Kelli, Logan, Beth, Nick, David and occasionally Michelle are all super knowledgeable, safe, and will make the experience super fun! Been diving with them for years and just had our 14 yr old certified and they took extra great care to make sure he was comfortable and had a great dive! The divemasters experience and knowledge of the dive sites is exceptional. We love the Maui Diamond!

This was a very nice three hour ride round trip to Molokini crater and one stop at turtle town to snorkel with turtles. The crew were fabulous. Alex was very professional and very friendly. Michelle was the “mermaid” and she was very kind and sweet. The zodiac boat was perfect for the trip. I highly recommend this company if you want to snorkel at the crater. You’ll definitely experience Aloha from start to finish.

Fantastic experience. We had a great captain… Apologize — never got his name. But his assistant was Michelle Mermaid. Very nice and helpful. Just well organized. And very informative. Had a great time saw lots of fish. The captains were to go and what time. A wonderful experience overall.

We had an amazing snorkeling trip to Molokini with Makena Coast Charters! Captain Matt and Lucy were both fantastic, friendly, energetic, and they made the whole experience so much fun.
When my dad started feeling nauseous, they were quick to help and made sure he was okay, which we really appreciated. They also took us around the beautiful coastline. The views and snorkeling were incredible.
I highly recommend Makena Coast Charters, especially Captain Matt and Lucy. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

I’ve snorkeled all over the world, and this was by far the best tour I’ve EVER done! The customer service was outstanding, special thanks to Captain Matt and Lucia for their tremendous hospitality. The crater is an absolute must for any snorkel enthusiast, the water clarity and volcano were both unforgettable. Would highly recommend this excursion to everyone, it’s life changing experience!

The crater was super clear today as the surf was a bit low( the early morning trip favors that condition) We even saw a big eel ! After leaving the crater we went along the back side of Molokini. Coming out along Makena and the seeing the very expensive homes Then we were fortunate today to visit Turtle town. We saw over a half a dozen turtles sleeping or floating around! What a treat! The swim back to the boat was an effort and a bit far for those who are not great swimmers. We had plenty of time at both locations in the water. After the swims we were given sandwiches, chips and a drink. Very filling
It was a perfect trip and totally recommend Makenna Mele excursions.

What an amazing experience. Captain Matt, and Kyle were informative and entertaining. It was a beautiful trip. We did the Molokini crater and turtle town 3 hour cruise. Worth every dime!! We were informed about endangered species and the bird sanctuary at the crater then off to turtle town. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to encounter several sea turtles. (Keeping a safe distance of course) Yori was amazing with communication and reminders. There were snacks, drinks and sub style sandwiches. The entire experience was just perfect. Highly recommend.
Tip: bring a GoPro.

I had such an amazing experience with Makena Coast Charters! I did their Whale Watching tour to Molokini crater. The water was crystal clear and you could see so many different fish. Captain Matt and Lucia were absolutely amazing. Lucia used the hydrophone so we could hear the whales singing! They were surprisingly really loud but it was a beautiful sound, listening to them all sing to each other. She explained so many different things about the whales and how they travel to get to Hawaii, how intelligent they have to be to get all the way there, and how the mother whales teach their babies to explore safely. We saw more than 5 different whales on our way to Molokini and the crew made sure that they stopped and showed us where to look and ensured that everyone was being respectful of each other so that everyone got the opportunity to see and take pictures. I really had such a great time and experience! I highly recommend, it was worth it. AND! They had snacks 🙂

Best thing we did is Hawaii. Our captain Matt, and Lucia made the whole experience! We had an incredible encounter with a whale that swam under our boat. They gave knowledge and caught the whales song for us to hear. They brought us to the best snorkeling spot Monokini crater. The ocean was live and vibrant. We finished the 3 hour tour with a snap and Hawaiian juice as we found serval more whales. They truly made this trip special!

After the swims we were given sandwiches, chips and a drink. Very filling
It was a perfect trip and totally recommend Makenna Mele excursions.

What an amazing experience. Captain Matt, and Kyle were informative and entertaining. It was a beautiful trip. We did the Molokini crater and turtle town 3 hour cruise. Worth every dime!! We were informed about endangered species and the bird sanctuary at the crater then off to turtle town. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to encounter several sea turtles. (Keeping a safe distance of course) Yori was amazing with communication and reminders. There were snacks, drinks and sub style sandwiches. The entire experience was just perfect. Highly recommend.
Tip: bring a GoPro.

We had such a great experience! Captain Matt was excellent and guided us well. You could tell they knew all the spots to go to. Would absolutely go again! We loved the smaller group and closeness to the water. The snorkeling gear and food were great. Wonderful time!

Great adventure with whales breaching!! Great crew and Shelby was so nice and knowledgeable about the whales and captain Matt was cracking the jokes! Perfect excursion efficient and easy!! Saw tons of cool fish and even an eel!

I had such an amazing experience with Makena Coast Charters! I did their Whale Watching tour to Molokini crater. The water was crystal clear and you could see so many different fish. Captain Matt and Lucia were absolutely amazing. Lucia used the hydrophone so we could hear the whales singing! They were surprisingly really loud but it was a beautiful sound, listening to them all sing to each other. She explained so many different things about the whales and how they travel to get to Hawaii, how intelligent they have to be to get all the way there, and how the mother whales teach their babies to explore safely. We saw more than 5 different whales on our way to Molokini and the crew made sure that they stopped and showed us where to look and ensured that everyone was being respectful of each other so that everyone got the opportunity to see and take pictures. I really had such a great time and experience! I highly recommend, it was worth it. AND! They had snacks 🙂

Best thing we did is Hawaii. Our captain Matt, and Lucia made the whole experience! We had an incredible encounter with a whale that swam under our boat. They gave knowledge and caught the whales song for us to hear. They brought us to the best snorkeling spot Monokini crater. The ocean was live and vibrant. We finished the 3 hour tour with a snap and Hawaiian juice as we found serval more whales. They truly made this trip special!

What a great day! Brandon, Joe, Kenzi, and Ollie were amazing. Even with a tropical storm headed towards the big island, they made sure safety was priority #1. Great food, drinks, and snorkeling. Molokini was beautiful!

Wow, cannot express how wonderful our day with Sail Maui was. We were faced with a brewing tropical storm, and Capt. Brandon assured us that our safety was his #1 priority and offered refunds if we felt uncomfortable.
We went out and had a beautiful day at Molokini Crater. Tons of fish, a seal sunning itself on the shore and a small reef shark on the bottom of the coral reef.
Food was excellent with dietary need options as well. Huge shout out to the crew for making our first trip to Maui an unforgettable one, Capt. Brandon, Mackenzie, Joe and Ollie. We WILL be back!! 🤙🏼🥥🌴

We had the BEST time with Sail Maui! Working with Ashley to book was a breeze and she was helpful and friendly the entire process. We had to deal with some changes due to weather and she was super communicative and proactive. We did a private sunset snorkel and sail on the Paragon and it was AMAZING. Fantastic snorkeling and a beautiful sunset. The boat was super comfortable and fun for our group of 7 (though of course could’ve fit way more!). Captain Chloe, Henry, and Joey were the best - they’re super knowledgable and we felt safe and taken care of the entire time. What a fantastic experience on Maui - HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting the island!

Our L'āna'i Coast Snorkel and Sail tour with Sail Maui was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. The crew was welcoming, informative, skilled and personable. They worked to ensure that everyone was comfortable and had what they needed at all times. The south swell (I believe that is the correct term) had been rising but the crew worked diligently, traveling further to a remote and beautiful spot, to ensure we had a chance to get into the water to snorkel. There was a laid back feeling throughout the tour and we left with our souls feeling well rested. It is also important to note that both the administrators and crew ensured we were reminded of the tragedy in Lahaina, helping us to act and move with respect for the sacred, memorialized land near the dock. We would absolutely join Sail Maui again and recommend their tours!

The sunset sail was one of the highlights of our time in Maui. The crew was exceptional and friendly. They made us feel like old friends hanging out for the evening. We will definitely book with this group again when we are in Maui.

I booked the sunset cruise last minute and didn’t know what to expect. I was not expecting anything crazy for such a competitive price. My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely professional and fun. The staff ensured that you had a great time by serving you any time your hands were empty and also making sure that you were comfortable/safe. Don’t worry about the wind. The boat is well suited for the conditions and the captain did a great job at positioning us to have minimal rocking. Open bar, finger food, and dessert was all amazing. It really was an excellent experience that we will cherish.

Really this is the best one on Maui, smaller boat, friendly people. I thought they were just exaggerating when they said they have the best spot on Molokini but I swam over to both sides and found that most of the fish were indeed on their side. These guys rock!
