Honestly would come back every time I visit! Captain and crew made me very welcome and not just a tourist coming to spend money. We all had a blast. In reality seeing a picture of the water slide was kind of a selling point, and totally worth it! Everything you're expecting on a snorkeling adventure was there, and what I expected plus some. However the vibe of the boat and the amount of fun I had took the whole experience and blew it out of the water. I can’t wait to come back and run with these guys and gals again. Great customer service is hard to find now days, however this crew definitely provides!

We had the most amazing time with Maui Snorkeling! Staff were kind, helpful, and very funny! Captain Greg’s playlist was upbeat and fun! Overall, this is our favorite excursion we’ve ever taken! Would go again if we ever find ourselves back on Maui!

Amazing experience with my large family. Crew was very attentive, safe, and super friendly. Highly recommend this company if you want to have a good time and see some of the incredible things that the ocean has to offer. The whole crew was very helpful and instructive. They also provided tons of reef safe sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and lunch. Would absolutely go with this company again.

Jen and Eleni were amazing, they got us out to 4 different spots to snorkel (before they got crowded btw), the sites were amazing, the gear was high quality and these ladies made them a tour so much fun. We loved their energy and photography they took. I could not recommend them and this company enough!

Captain Spence, Danny and Zade were all awesome on our snorkeling trip today. They were all very fun, professional and experts in what they do. They shared a lot of knowledge and jokes that made the experience feel more personable. We were able to see whales while heading out to snorkel and we also saw a great amount of different fish and some turtles while snorkeling. I highly recommend going through Maui Snorkeling!

Extremely overbooked. Spent 40 minutes at the crater despite being a 5-hour excursion. Unloading 50 people into the water for a 40-minute snorkeling is terrible. 50 people with snorkeling fins in a small radius of the boat kicking each other and running into each other. We didn't get to the crater until after 9. You have to pay for your parking on top of excursion. "Open Bar" is for 30 minutes of the trip. The tour guides were doing an amazing job despite the situation (Reason for 2 stars not 1) but if you want to snorkel at the crater do not book them. They are great if you want a boat ride with a tour guide and want to donate your money to protect marine life. There are beaches in Maui with better snorkeling. They also take you to turtle town which is something you can just go to the beach and see.

The afternoon dolphin sail exceeded our expectations! It was hot and windy, but it seems the dolphins like it that way. We sailed in a huge pod, maybe a hundred? The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the company is a nonprofit supporting marine research. The lunch and cocktails were delicious as well! We left out of Lahaina harbor, for the first time since the fire. It was emotionally heavy, but good to see the area in use again.

There has been no improvement from reading responses for other negative reviews promising better communication and decision making. Booked - Molokini Crater and Turtle Snorkeling. Trip should have been canceled. We did get in the water but seas were too rough to get close to where we might see anything worthwhile. My wife vomited as I'm sure others did too. Visibilty at the Turtle site poor and current too strong for most people. Many better sites up at Honokeana Bay and Napili Point. (and free). Plenty of coral, rock formations and marine life. This trip not worth the money or time.

I went diving with Maui Diamond on September 30 I had the best boat dive I had in a long time, The crew was outstanding, very helpful, Both the dive masters where extremely knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable through out the dive I would highly recommend diving with this company if you want a boat dive .

Great dive operation. Large boat. Logan was our dive master for the trip and was fantastic. Only downside was hurricane in the area and we had to cancel our Lanai cathedral dive, but the team allowed us to change days easily. Would book with them if ever in Maui.

While my only experience with Maui Diamond Sea Sports was the Lanai Cathedrals trip on 13-Sep, I can honestly say it was both memorable and amazing. Every member of the crew was not only professional and safety-first minded, they were authentically friendly and happily engaged in conversation to help pass the time while on the boat. If you’ve ever been on a boat trip where the crew seemed “required friendly”, you’ll understand how the minutes feel like hours when you’re not in the water. That was not the case with Maui Diamond Sea Sports. If/when I return to Maui for a vacation, I will 100% book all of my dives with Maui Diamond. Thank you for a truly memorable experience!

Fantastic dive to the Lanai Cathedrals today by a most professional crew on a beautiful boat! Safety is clearly #1 with them, the captain led the boat smoothly through the waters and kept us informed at all times. The dive briefings were thorough and interesting with clear expectations. Our DM David was a great leader, kept a close eye on us especially when the current became a bit strong, and took into consideration our individual needs. Definitely choose this operation when you're in Maui!

This was a very nice three hour ride round trip to Molokini crater and one stop at turtle town to snorkel with turtles. The crew were fabulous. Alex was very professional and very friendly. Michelle was the “mermaid” and she was very kind and sweet. The zodiac boat was perfect for the trip. I highly recommend this company if you want to snorkel at the crater. You’ll definitely experience Aloha from start to finish.

Fantastic experience. We had a great captain… Apologize — never got his name. But his assistant was Michelle Mermaid. Very nice and helpful. Just well organized. And very informative. Had a great time saw lots of fish. The captains were to go and what time. A wonderful experience overall.

We had an amazing snorkeling trip to Molokini with Makena Coast Charters! Captain Matt and Lucy were both fantastic, friendly, energetic, and they made the whole experience so much fun. When my dad started feeling nauseous, they were quick to help and made sure he was okay, which we really appreciated. They also took us around the beautiful coastline. The views and snorkeling were incredible. I highly recommend Makena Coast Charters, especially Captain Matt and Lucy. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

I’ve snorkeled all over the world, and this was by far the best tour I’ve EVER done! The customer service was outstanding, special thanks to Captain Matt and Lucia for their tremendous hospitality. The crater is an absolute must for any snorkel enthusiast, the water clarity and volcano were both unforgettable. Would highly recommend this excursion to everyone, it’s life changing experience!

Fabulous trip! Matt and Lucia were very helpful and informative. They help you with your mask, snorkel and fins AS well as getting back on the boat!!! If needed they provide “noodle’s” to help you float. The crater was super clear today as the surf was a bit low( the early morning trip favors that condition) We even saw a big eel ! After leaving the crater we went along the back side of Molokini. Coming out along Makena and the seeing the very expensive homes Then we were fortunate today to visit Turtle town. We saw over a half a dozen turtles sleeping or floating around! What a treat! The swim back to the boat was an effort and a bit far for those who are not great swimmers. We had plenty of time at both locations in the water. After the swims we were given sandwiches, chips and a drink. Very filling It was a perfect trip and totally recommend Makenna Mele excursions.

What an amazing experience. Captain Matt, and Kyle were informative and entertaining. It was a beautiful trip. We did the Molokini crater and turtle town 3 hour cruise. Worth every dime!! We were informed about endangered species and the bird sanctuary at the crater then off to turtle town. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to encounter several sea turtles. (Keeping a safe distance of course) Yori was amazing with communication and reminders. There were snacks, drinks and sub style sandwiches. The entire experience was just perfect. Highly recommend. Tip: bring a GoPro.

We had such a great experience! Captain Matt was excellent and guided us well. You could tell they knew all the spots to go to. Would absolutely go again! We loved the smaller group and closeness to the water. The snorkeling gear and food were great. Wonderful time!

Great adventure with whales breaching!! Great crew and Shelby was so nice and knowledgeable about the whales and captain Matt was cracking the jokes! Perfect excursion efficient and easy!! Saw tons of cool fish and even an eel!

I had such an amazing experience with Makena Coast Charters! I did their Whale Watching tour to Molokini crater. The water was crystal clear and you could see so many different fish. Captain Matt and Lucia were absolutely amazing. Lucia used the hydrophone so we could hear the whales singing! They were surprisingly really loud but it was a beautiful sound, listening to them all sing to each other. She explained so many different things about the whales and how they travel to get to Hawaii, how intelligent they have to be to get all the way there, and how the mother whales teach their babies to explore safely. We saw more than 5 different whales on our way to Molokini and the crew made sure that they stopped and showed us where to look and ensured that everyone was being respectful of each other so that everyone got the opportunity to see and take pictures. I really had such a great time and experience! I highly recommend, it was worth it. AND! They had snacks 🙂

Best thing we did is Hawaii. Our captain Matt, and Lucia made the whole experience! We had an incredible encounter with a whale that swam under our boat. They gave knowledge and caught the whales song for us to hear. They brought us to the best snorkeling spot Monokini crater. The ocean was live and vibrant. We finished the 3 hour tour with a snap and Hawaiian juice as we found serval more whales. They truly made this trip special!

Maui sail on the Paragon is phenomenal. Such an amazing sailing experience on the fastest boat in Maui. The crew (Chloe, Mika and Keiley) were fantastic, super knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. These 3 could probably sail a plank of wood and still make it an enjoyable experience for all thats how good they are. A large variety of drinks and the food was great. When we went the boat didn't feel over crowded, which was really nice. Maui sail is back in Lahaina Harbour, so book, get on down there and share the love with the crew.

Gavin and Jane were our tour guides and they made it so fun! I was unable to carry my equipment for long, so they did it for me. Also, a couple of us were nervous about going on a couple of the bigger lines, but they put our minds at ease.

This was such an awesome experience! Fav thing we did in Hawaii so far. Awesome boat but always more about the people - we definitely had the A-team with Brandon, Braxton and Megan!

We had a private corporate rental to Molokini. Captain Brandon and crew were the best! We saw amazing fish, dolphin and even an octopus! The breakfast, lunch and drinks were top notch! Can't recommend this trip and crew more!!

This was a fabulous sunset cruise. The staff went above and beyond and the food was excellent. They attended to our every need and even had our shoes lined up afterward.
