The Piiholo Ranch is a beautiful area centered upcountry along the majestic slopes of Maui’s famous mountain/volcano Haleakala. They offer either a 30 minute or a 1 hour “Riding Lessons” activity for children ages 3 and up with well trained and groomed horses fitted with Western saddles. This activity focuses on building a natural relationship between the rider and the horse based on the horses’ natural instincts and mentality. Regardless of previous riding experience, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
