How likely are we to catch fish on a Kauai fishing charter?

Is there a general likelihood or percentage of time we could expect to catch fish on a Kauai fishing charter?

Sorry but no generalization can be made regarding when or how many fish you may catch. The variables are simply way too many. We are sad to say that it certainly does happen that we can go out on a fishing charter and come back completely empty handed. This can also happen a couple days in a row. By the same token we can come back totally flush with fish days on end. The best that can be said is that the Kauai fishing captains try their best. They keep an eye out for where the fish have been running, they use live bait when applicable and they try various lures to better their chances. The element of chance does play a large part in whether you catch fish or not and every seasoned fisherman is aware of the spin of the roulette wheel.
