Is it possible to ride horses on the beach on Maui?

Due to Hawaii State laws, it is not possible to ride horses directly on the beaches of Maui. Ocean view rides are available that go no closer than 150 feet from the water, but sanitation laws do not permit anyone to ride horses on the beach.
