Is there any type of Maui luau that might be more interesting for children?

Most luaus on Maui are pretty standardized, but some are more family friendly than others. They may offer a kid’s buffet with foods that picky kids will eat, and often they will offer kids free when you pay for the adults. Others will allow you to see just the show without the buffet if you have really picky eaters or dietary restrictions. Some are more interactive with the audience, offering an opportunity for guests to join the dancers onstage for hula lessons, and the more exuberant children will really enjoy that part of the night. Some feature a great deal of Tahitian drumming in their choreography, and the drumbeats are something that always gets the kids moving. The fire-knife dancers are always the highlight of the show featured usually as the finale of the evening, capturing the attention of even the most bored teenager.
