We were sorry to hear that Don Ho had passed away. We saw him on our honeymoon twenty-five years ago and were hoping to catch him again. Is there anyone who has taken his place as an entertainer in Waikiki.

Sorry to say, but there is no one who could take Don Ho’s place as an entertainer in Waikiki. There is no question that he is a legend here and since his jersey has been retired no-one else will ever be allowed to wear his number. He was one of a kind and a pioneer in the tourist industry in Hawaii. This is not to say that you will not be able to enjoy some great shows while visiting Oahu this time. It’s just fair to say that it won’t be a Don Ho experience. By all means check out the Society of Seven and for something really spectacular, check out the Magic of Polynesia.
