Could there be any doubt that dolphins love to have a good time. Being animals at the top tier of intelligence in the animal kingdom the dolphin often spends its spare time simply frolicking and having fun.
They have been known to ride the wake of large ocean going vessels for miles and miles and they have often shared the shoreline waves with human surfers. They can be seen riding waves solo at times but almost always they are seen participating their wave riding in the company of other dolphins.
Taking a page from the Olympics sport of synchronistic swimming these beautiful animals more often than not will launch themselves into the air at the precise moment as others in the group. They are very social animals and as such they really love to play together.
