Tom’s Tips – Hawaii Cruise Shore Excursions

Nov 6, 2020 | Activity Information

The cruise ship industry has been a viable one in the islands for many years but has become even more popular in recent years. As such there are many people coming to Hawaii on cruise ships seeking shore excursion to experience the many beauties and adventures found on the islands. A couple obstacles often stand in their way however: there are time and day restraints imposed upon which tours are available to them because of the arrival and departure times of the specific cruises. And secondly, the cruise line companies often provide certain shore excursion packages that will fit the time-lines of the ship’s arrival and departures but these are always at full price and even ‘full price plus’ for the privilege of being able to make the booking directly through them.

We have made things a little simpler here for you by listing all the tours that are ‘cruise ship compatible’ so that if you wish you can choose to participate in a vast array of tours that will fit the time schedule of the cruise and be able to give you plenty of time to get back to the ship before departure (the most frequent cruise line to come into Hawaii ports is the Pride of America and we have provided our listing of shore excursions to coincide specifically with this vessel. Other ships come in at different times but many of the same tours will work fine as well but you will need to check with us).

Some of these tours will pick you up at the boat and others will require you to arrange for a rent-a-car to get to them and we can organize that for you as well. Just let us know.
