Tom’s Tips – Oahu Whale Watch Tours

Don’t miss out on the whale watch tours we offer during the winter season off the coast of Oahu. There are a number of different sized boat available but they generally are out for no more than 2 hours. If you are visiting in the heart of the whale season, which is usually January, February and March, you are almost certain to see plenty of them. Many boats will include underwater hydrophones so you can here their ‘whale song’ as they communicate with each other and there will also be some form of narration or personalized discussion directly with the captain. These tours are fascinating, fun and provide a great source of education on the subject. If you have children this should definitely be on your ‘to do’ list.
