We offer many different snorkeling trips throughout the state of Hawaii. Each one tries to differentiate itself from the others in the industry by catering to a specific niche group. We have some boats that offer luxury trips, others that are more geared towards families and we have ones that are more geared towards the people that would really like to maximize the amount of snorkeling time during the excursion. The trip we went on today with Redline Rafting was definitely one that would fit into the category of snorkel trips whose main goal is to maximize the time spent snorkeling.

The wind conditions were a little different the usual so our captain decided to switch up the usual order of how he visits the snorkel spots. We started out by going to Turtle Town where we got in the water and swam around with an ENORMOUS Green Sea Turtle. After we were done snorkeling Turtle Town we moved on to the island of Molokini. We snorkeled Molokini on the inside of the caldera, and then again along the back wall. After this we boarded the boat and moved down the coast for our final snorkel stop of the day which was down on the southern tip of the island in an area known as La Perouse Bay.

When the snorkeling portion of the trip was done our captain set up our lunch. Lunch consisted of a build your own sandwich buffet that had a variety of different deli meats, rolls, breads, vegetables and condiments to choose from. Once everyone had finished making their sandwiches a silence fell over the boat as we ate. I think after snorkeling at 4 different spots in one morning it is safe to say that the our group had managed to work up quite an appetite.

After we were finished eating our captain cleaned up the sandwich buffet and fired up the motors for the return trip back up the coast to the harbor. Along the way we passed quite a few different pods of whales which kept the ride back quite entertaining!
